Admiral Fitzroy apparently escaped a storm while touring the world with Darwin in 1836, thanks to this invention! The object of this invention is to predict the weather: the sealed tube comprises a mixture of distilled water, ethanol, potassium nitrate, ammonium chloride, and camphor. The changes in crystallization inside the spheres should allow the weather to be predicted.
